CYBERWOLVES

We are VEX IQ team 481A from Windy Hill Middle School in Clermont. This is our third year working together as a team and the 2018-2019 VEX IQ Season has been our very best one.

We are all 8th graders and this season 2018/2019 is our last year competing in VEX IQ, so our sights where set on the 2019 VEX IQ Worlds in Kentucky since the moment we started thinking about our robot for this years game, Next Level.

On March 10th, 2019 we won the Excellence Award at the North/Central Florida State Tournament and clenched an invitation to The World Championship in KY on April 28-30, 2019. We had reached our goal for the local season.  

 

The Cyberwolves are still in pursuit of more Awards. At each tournament we figured out ways to better our design and came into the next tournament stronger. The preparations for Worlds are no different. We are currently ranked 2nd in FL and 49th (out of almost 4000 teams) in the World. At Worlds we will be competing with 400 teams from 40 different countries. We have improved our design and at Worlds we will be driving Maximus Hogan Jr. who we think is even more competitive than his big brother.
